Monkey was the perfect name for my inner demon that was no longer pretending to be my protector and friend. This Monkey was in plain sight to everyone that it was going to be me or the Monkey that would survive. I wrote this song to let everyone dealing with their own Monkey know you can defeat anything when you believe in yourself. So I hope this song puts a smile on your face and strength in your heart.

Set me Free was written from the desperation of being a prisoner to my addiction. I had suffered long and hard before I was Set Free from this form of self destruction. This song is about suffering and overcoming the painful obstacles that life can inflict upon us. I hope my words leave you with hope and shine a light in a world that can be very dark but very beautiful. Anything is possible if you believe.
